I developed the ABM (Ameso Blood Manager) mobile application for client Ameso Martha as part of her university capstone project. This critical healthcare solution addresses the urgent need for efficient blood bank management while creating a seamless connection between blood donors and hospitals requiring specific blood types for patient care.

Comprehensive Blood Bank Management

The application provides a complete digital ecosystem for blood bank operations, featuring real-time inventory tracking, donation scheduling, and comprehensive donor database management. Healthcare administrators can monitor blood stock levels, track expiration dates, and receive automated alerts for low inventory situations. The system maintains detailed records of all blood units, including collection dates, testing results, and storage conditions.

Intelligent Donor Matching System

A core feature involves sophisticated matching algorithms that connect hospitals with compatible donors based on blood type, location proximity, and donor availability. When hospitals require specific blood types, the system automatically notifies eligible donors in the vicinity, reducing response times and potentially saving lives through efficient coordination.

Donor Education and Safety Features

The app includes comprehensive educational modules that inform users about blood donation processes, eligibility requirements, and safety protocols. Interactive features help potential donors understand when it's safe to donate, required waiting periods between donations, and pre-donation health assessments.
